Haimish tries to sneak a look at his Christmas present, but gets caught by his pa. He learns that sneaking a look is not a good thing because it spoils others’ joy. All is forgiven in the end.

The narrator introduces Haimish, a young Scottish Haggis living in a tidy burrow with his family in the Highlands. The story revolves around Haimish learning the importance of responsibility after making a mess in the kitchen. He apologizes to his brothers, highlighting the value of admitting mistakes and accepting consequences.
